Annual Club Support

Annual Club Support

In the 2023-2024 Rotary year, Lincoln Rotary Club 14 Foundation provided funding support to Club 14 projects and community organizations as follows:

  • $22,806 for Club projects supporting children and youth in our community such as: Dictionaries for all 3rd grade students in Lincoln, Read Aloud at Everett School, Rotary’s Youth Exchange Program, and Birthday Books.

  • $28,002 for Club projects supporting our community such as: Miller Math Award to recognize an outstanding teacher, Little Free Pantries to reduce hunger, enhance video capabilities at public libraries, and support of the next phase of bringing a convention center to Lincoln.

  • $20,515 for Club projects supporting the greater global community such as: Martin Legacy Fund for polio eradication, the International Student Picnic, solar panels in Ukraine, sustainability education in Namibia, nutrition, clean water and dental supplies in Zambia, and even a motorcycle in Bhutan to patrol the national parks there to reduce poaching.

  • $35,000 to expand English language education services and computer and technology training for refugees in our community.

  • $10,000 in need-based college scholarship funding to four Lincoln students.

That's $116,323 in club project and grant funding just this year, a level only made possible by the contributions and support of all Rotarians.
