In the 2020-2021 Rotary year, Lincoln Rotary #14 Foundation provided funding support to Club #14 projects and community organizations as follows:

  • $17,000 in support of Club projects such as: Rotary Youth Exchange, Birthday Books, Read Aloud at Everett School, Miller Math Award, Martin Legacy Fund for polio eradication, International Student Picnic, and a dictionary to every 4th grade student in Lincoln.

  • $22,000 in grant funding to support local organizations such as Foundation for LPS for families facing impacts related to the pandemic, Bright Lights for student scholarships, Friends of Lied for child arts education, Junior Achievement for curriculum for students at Everett School, Salvation Army for music classes, Willard Community Center for Chromebooks for after school programs, Tabitha Meals on Wheels, and support of activities for Everett School students.

  • $18,000 to support replacement of the HVAC system at the Gathering Place.

  • $9,000 in need-based college scholarship funding to four Lincoln students.

  • $11,000 in projects selected by the Club’s World Fellowship and Community Service Committee directed towards our international community including education on sustainable living in Namibia, canals for water for gardening in Zambia, wheelchairs for polio survivors in Ivory Coast, youth education in Uganda, education for women entrepreneurs in Congo and water tanks in Kenya.

That's $77,000 in club project and grant funding just this year, a level only made possible by the contributions and support of all Rotarians.
