Polio Plus Campaign
End Polio Now (www.endpolionow.org) is a project of Rotary International. Rotary has joined forces with four other global organizations – the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – in a public-private partnership led by national governments, to eradicate polio worldwide through the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. Rotary Club #14 has contributed over $60,000 as our part of the worldwide Rotary International effort to eradicate polio. This year (2018-19) our goal is to raise another $5000 to support this cause.
