Grants and Projects Funded
Lincoln Rotary Club 14 Foundation is the conduit for all of our charitable giving and community service projects. As of December 2025, we have awarded over $2.33 Million in grants, scholarships and awards since the inception of the Foundation in 1997. The Foundation's project and grant implementation plan dedicates a portion of our earnings to fund club projects and community grants while also setting aside a portion of those earnings to build future giving capacity and to support club “Signature Projects”. In 2005, a gift of nearly $50,000 went towards renovation of Sunken Gardens. In 2010, we made a major community gift of $100,000 to help fund the Elliott Park & Playground Project as our Centennial Project. Our 2020 Signature Project was a gift of $200,000 to help renovate the Bicentennial Cascade Fountain, also known as the "Teachers' Fountain". We are currently making plans for another significant gift in 2026. In addition, through important club projects like our annual fundraising event and pledge campaigns, we are able to provide support to major community efforts and scholarship programs on an ongoing basis.
